Core imbalance can lead to back, hip and knee pain.

Core stability is the ability to control the position and movement of the central portion of the body – the abdominal, lower back and pelvic regions.

When walking or running the body should move in a balanced way with fluidity but also control.

Total Podiatry assessments can determine if there is a foot or lower limb condition which is impacting your ability to achieve adequate core strength. If there is a misalignment in the lower limbs it will create an imbalance elsewhere as the body naturally self corrects. By removing misalignments any secondary imbalances can be corrected allowing full and correct use of the core muscles which stabilise the body.
